An original animated series
SC. 01 · The pitch
He is the strongest man in the city. She is the only mechanic he trusts. They have been happily married for nine years, and their bed has never once held both of them at the same time. It has not been idle.
Captain Lavandar is an adult animated comedy about the most successful sham marriage in the city. He's closeted. She's closeted. The arrangement is airtight. He gets Thursdays at the gym with a trainer who counts more than reps, she gets the weekend and a tent that has only ever slept two, and the city gets a hero so wholesome they gave him a billboard. It holds beautifully, right up until his trainer leaves a toothbrush, her camping buddy leaves a toothbrush, and a tabloid starts counting toothbrushes. Every episode is a POV: shot like the videos already on your feed, drawn like the comics you grew up on, and written for the joke that lands in the first two seconds.

Nobody has discussed this.
It is going extremely well.

SC. 04 · The pilots
Every pilot is finished, vertical and sound-on. Tap one. Headphones if you are at work, and especially if you are at work. This is the format the series ships in, not a proof of concept.

SC. 05 · Standing sets
Six painted standing sets carry the series. Grimy, halftoned and neon-lit. The rooms play it completely straight, which is more than anyone in them is managing.
SC. 06 · Format
Built to post daily and cut together into a half-hour. The vertical frame is the native format, not a crop. The show is filthy in the way a wedding toast is filthy, never in the way a police report is.
Fade out
The full bible, the episode grid and the remaining character sheets are ready to send. Discretion assured. Everyone here is exceptionally good at that.
